David P. Ernsthausen, DVM, opened Animal Hospital at West Ridge in 1998 after practicing several years in North Central Ohio at a multi-doctor practice. Dr. Dave's career providing small animal surgery and medicine with an interest in orthopedics and reproduction began at Ohio State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science (1984) and DVM (1994).

Beau J Holley, DVM, is a graduate of The Ohio State University.  Originally from Bowling Green, Dr. Holley has strong ties to the Bowling Green community.  He worked with Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant while attending Bowling Green State University, where he attained a Bachelor of Science degree. 

Dr. Dave and Dr. Holley are both members of the Toledo Veterinary Medical Association, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Our staff of three registered veterinary technicians are here to assist the doctors in providing your pet with quality care.  Cindy, Heather and Melissa have over a decade of experience in their profession.  Cindy and Melissa are graduates of the Veterinary Technology Program at Stautzenberger College.  Heather graduated from the Veterinary Technology Program at Columbus State Community College.  Each is a Qualified Dental Technician and a member of the American Society of Veterinary Dental Technicians.
